他把手机举到检票口旁边，屏幕上那只小圆圈转了一圈，又一圈，像故意把一分钟拉得很长。身后的人流没有催他，工作人员也只是抬手示意他先站到旁边，可他额头上已经出了一层汗。那天在杭州去乌镇的客运站，一个外国游客第一次真正明白：在中国旅行，手机很方便，但方便不等于每一秒都一定在线。

He held his phone beside the ticket gate, and the small circle on the screen spun once, then again, stretching one minute into something much longer. The people behind him did not push, and the staff member simply gestured for him to step aside, but sweat had already appeared on his forehead. That day, at a bus station on the way from Hangzhou to Wuzhen, a foreign traveler finally understood something simple: phones are very convenient in China, but convenience does not mean being online every second.
