成都大熊猫与宽窄巷子 | Chengdu: Giant Pandas & Kuanzhai Alley

成都有两件事几乎所有游客都会做：看熊猫、逛宽窄巷子。但这两件事怎么做才不踩坑，大多数人事先并不清楚。

Almost every visitor to Chengdu does two things: see pandas and walk Kuanzhai Alley. But most people don't know how to do either without wasting half their day.

熊猫基地：早去是唯一正确答案 / Panda Base: Early Is the Only Right Answer

成都大熊猫繁育研究基地距市区约10公里，打车约30分钟。门票58元，网上提前预约。

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is about 10 km from the city center — roughly 30 minutes by taxi. Tickets cost ¥58; book online in advance.

关键信息：熊猫在上午10点之前最活跃。早上7:30开园，8-9点是熊猫进食时间，这时候它们会坐在外面抱着竹子啃，拍照效果最好。10点之后大多数熊猫会回室内睡觉，你看到的基本是一堆黑白毛球趴着不动。

Critical fact: pandas are most active before 10 AM. The base opens at 7:30 AM; feeding time is 8-9 AM, when they sit outside gnawing bamboo — best for photos. After 10 AM most pandas retreat indoors to sleep, and you're essentially watching black-and-white fur piles.

基地里除了大熊猫，还有小熊猫（红熊猫）区域——很多人不知道，但红熊猫比大熊猫更好拍，因为它们更活跃，而且游客少。

Beyond giant pandas, the base has a red panda area — lesser known, but red pandas are actually easier to photograph because they're more active and the crowds are thinner.

宽窄巷子：怎么避开人海 / Kuanzhai Alley: Beating the Crowds

宽窄巷子是清代满族聚居区改造的历史街区，由宽巷子、窄巷子、井巷子三条平行小巷组成。现在已经完全商业化，但建筑本身值得看。

Kuanzhai Alley is a Qing-dynasty Manchu residential area converted into a heritage district — three parallel lanes: Wide Alley (宽巷子), Narrow Alley (窄巷子), and Well Alley (井巷子). Fully commercialized now, but the architecture is worth seeing.

宽巷子是最热闹的，餐厅和茶馆集中在这里。窄巷子相对安静，有几家做得不错的咖啡馆和文创店。井巷子游客最少，墙上有一段用旧砖砌成的历史浮雕，是三条巷子里最有意思的细节。

Wide Alley is the busiest, with restaurants and teahouses. Narrow Alley is quieter, with decent cafés and design shops. Well Alley has the fewest tourists — look for the historical relief sculpture made from old bricks along the wall, the most interesting detail in all three lanes.

避开人流的方法：工作日上午10点前到达，或者傍晚6点后来——灯笼亮起，人流减少，气氛反而更好。周末下午是最糟糕的时间，人多到寸步难行。

To avoid crowds: arrive before 10 AM on weekdays, or come after 6 PM when lanterns light up and foot traffic drops — the atmosphere is actually better. Weekend afternoons are the worst: shoulder-to-shoulder the entire way.

成都火锅：选哪家 / Hotpot: Which One

宽窄巷子附近的火锅店大多是旅游陷阱，价格贵、质量一般。真正好吃的成都火锅在玉林路和抚琴一带，本地人聚集的区域。

Most hotpot restaurants near Kuanzhai Alley are tourist traps — overpriced and mediocre. The real stuff is in the Yulin Road and Fuqin neighborhoods, where locals actually eat.

点菜建议：毛肚（必点，涮7秒）、鸭肠（涮5秒）、黄喉（涮15秒）、脑花（接受度因人而异但是成都特色）。锅底选鸳鸯锅，辣的那半边才是灵魂。

Ordering guide: tripe (必点, swish 7 seconds), duck intestine (5 seconds), aorta (15 seconds), brain (acquired taste but authentically Chengdu). Get the half-and-half pot — the spicy side is the whole point.

两天行程 / Two-Day Plan

第一天：早上7:30熊猫基地，10:30返回市区，下午宽窄巷子（避开午后高峰，4点后去），晚上玉林路火锅。

Day 1: 7:30 AM Panda Base, back in the city by 10:30 AM. Afternoon at Kuanzhai Alley (skip the midday rush, go after 4 PM). Evening hotpot on Yulin Road.

第二天：上午武侯祠（三国文化，门票62元）或杜甫草堂（诗圣故居，门票50元）二选一，下午锦里古街（武侯祠旁边，免费，比宽窄巷子更有烟火气），晚上在春熙路/太古里逛街。

Day 2: Morning — choose between Wuhou Shrine (Three Kingdoms culture, ¥62) or Du Fu Thatched Cottage (poet's former home, ¥50). Afternoon at Jinli Ancient Street next to Wuhou Shrine (free, more local atmosphere than Kuanzhai). Evening shopping at Chunxi Road / Taikoo Li.

实用提示 / Practical Notes

成都地铁4号线直达宽窄巷子（宽窄巷子站）。去熊猫基地建议打滴滴，早上地铁换乘麻烦。成都夏天闷热多雨，带伞和防晒。四川话口音重，但年轻人普通话都没问题。
