It's not a race through attractions but a slow meditation on what "Jiangnan" really means. Seven days, three cities, from the Bund to West Lake, from Lujiazui to the Humble Administrator's Garden.

第1-3天：上海 / Days 1–3: Shanghai

第1天：外滩与浦东 / Day 1: The Bund & Pudong

落地上海后，建议入住南京路步行街或外滩附近的酒店（300-600元/晚，推荐"上海外滩英迪格"或性价比更高的汉庭优佳）。放下行李后直奔外滩——这条1.5公里长的滨江步道两侧，是52幢风格各异的殖民时期建筑：哥特式的和平饭店、巴洛克风格的汇丰银行大楼、新古典主义的海关大楼。

After landing in Shanghai, check in near Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street or the Bund (¥300–600/night; the Hotel Indigo on the Bund for a splurge, or Hanting Premium for better value). Drop your bags and head straight for the Bund — this 1.5km riverside promenade is flanked by 52 colonial-era buildings in every style imaginable: the Gothic Peace Hotel, the Baroque HSBC Building, the Neoclassical Customs House.

This view is worth standing on the Bund for a full hour.

晚上可以乘坐外滩观光隧道（单程50元，有点老旧但气氛独特）到浦东，或者坐地铁2号线（3元）到陆家嘴，在上海中心大厦118层观景台（门票180元）俯瞰全城夜景。

In the evening, cross to Pudong via the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel (¥50 one-way, dated but atmospheric) or take Metro Line 2 (¥3) to Lujiazui. The 118th-floor observation deck at Shanghai Tower (¥180) gives you the entire city's nightscape at your feet.

第2天：老上海与法租界 / Day 2: Old Shanghai & the French Concession

上午去城隍庙和豫园（门票40元）。城隍庙的小吃街人头攒动，南翔小笼包（一笼12个，28元）是必吃项——汤汁浓郁，皮薄如纸，一口咬下去满嘴鲜甜。豫园则是明代古典园林，虽然面积不大（仅2万平方米），但假山、回廊、亭榭的布局精妙绝伦。

Morning: head to City God Temple and Yu Garden (¥40 entry). The temple's snack street is always packed. Nanxiang xiaolongbao (12 per steamer, ¥28) are a must — rich broth, paper-thin skin, a burst of sweet umami with every bite. Yu Garden itself is a Ming Dynasty classical garden — small (just 20,000 sq m) but exquisitely laid out with rockeries, covered corridors, and pavilions.

下午深入法租界——武康路、安福路、湖南路一带是上海最有腔调的街区。梧桐树荫下藏着独立咖啡馆、vintage买手店和小众画廊。在武康大楼（上海最著名的Art Deco建筑之一）前拍张照，然后找一家街边咖啡馆坐下，看穿旗袍的阿姨遛着贵宾犬走过——这才是上海最迷人的日常。

Afternoon: dive into the French Concession — Wukang Road, Anfu Road, and Hunan Road form Shanghai's most stylish neighborhood. Under the shade of plane trees hide independent cafés, vintage boutiques, and gallery spaces. Snap a photo at Wukang Mansion (one of Shanghai's most iconic Art Deco buildings), then sit at a sidewalk café and watch a qipao-clad auntie walk her poodle past — this is Shanghai's most charming everyday.

第3天：自由探索 / Day 3: Free Exploration

我个人推荐把第3天留给两个地方：上午去M50创意园区（免费，莫干山路50号），这里是上海当代艺术的前沿阵地；下午去朱家角古镇（地铁17号线直达，门票免费，联票60元含四个小景点），这座距离市区仅1小时的水乡，有着比周庄更安静的街巷和更地道的小吃。

My personal recommendation for Day 3: morning at M50 Art District (free, 50 Moganshan Road), Shanghai's contemporary art frontier; afternoon at Zhujiajiao Water Town (Metro Line 17 direct, free entry, ¥60 combo ticket for 4 small attractions). Just an hour from downtown, this water town has quieter lanes and more authentic snacks than the famous Zhouzhuang.

第4-5天：杭州 / Days 4–5: Hangzhou

从上海虹桥站乘高铁至杭州东站，仅需45分钟（票价73元）。杭州是中国最宜居的城市之一，也是互联网巨头阿里巴巴的总部所在地——但它最迷人的部分依然是那个千年不变的西湖。

High-speed rail from Shanghai Hongqiao to Hangzhou East takes just 45 minutes (¥73). Hangzhou is one of China's most livable cities and the headquarters of Alibaba — but its most enchanting part remains the thousand-year-old West Lake.

西湖 / West Lake

西湖不收门票。你可以花2-3小时沿湖步行（一圈约10公里），也可以租自行车（景区公共自行车1小时内免费），或坐手划船游湖（150元/船，可坐4人）。苏堤春晓、断桥残雪、三潭印月——这些名字本身就像诗。

West Lake charges no admission. Walk the full loop (about 10km, 2–3 hours), rent a bike (public bikes free for the first hour), or take a hand-rowed boat (¥150/boat, seats 4). Su Causeway at Dawn, Broken Bridge in Snow, Three Pools Mirroring the Moon — the names themselves read like poetry.

清晨6点的西湖是一天中最美的时候。雾气笼罩着湖面，远处的雷峰塔在朦胧中若隐若现，湖边的柳树垂着长长的枝条，偶尔有一只白鹭掠过水面。那种安静，让你一瞬间理解了白居易和苏轼为什么如此迷恋这个地方。

West Lake at 6am is the day's most beautiful hour. Mist wraps the water, Leifeng Pagoda appears and disappears in the haze, willows trail long branches along the shore, an occasional egret skims the surface. In that quiet, you instantly understand why Bai Juyi and Su Shi were so obsessed with this place.

龙井与灵隐寺 / Longjing Tea & Lingyin Temple

第5天上午去梅家坞或龙井村喝茶（一杯正宗龙井约30-50元），茶农会热情地邀请你坐下来聊天。下午前往灵隐寺（门票75元，含飞来峰），这是江南地区最大的佛教寺院之一，始建于公元326年。寺内的大雄宝殿庄严肃穆，殿外的飞来峰石窟有300多尊佛像，部分可追溯至五代时期。

On Day 5 morning, head to Meijiawu or Longjing Village for tea (a cup of authentic Longjing runs ¥30–50). Tea farmers will warmly invite you to sit and chat. Afternoon: Lingyin Temple (¥75 including Feilai Peak), one of Jiangnan's largest Buddhist temples, founded in 326 AD. The Main Hall is solemn and grand; outside, the Feilai Peak grottoes hold over 300 Buddhist statues, some dating to the Five Dynasties period.

杭州的晚餐推荐"外婆家"（人均50-80元），招牌菜是西湖醋鱼和东坡肉。如果想吃得更精致，"龙井草堂"（人均200-300元）提供以龙井茶入菜的创意杭帮菜。

For dinner in Hangzhou, try Grandma's Home (¥50–80/person) for signature West Lake vinegar fish and Dongpo pork. For something more refined, Longjing Caotang (¥200–300/person) serves creative Hangzhou cuisine incorporating Longjing tea.

第6-7天：苏州 / Days 6–7: Suzhou

从杭州东站乘高铁至苏州站约1.5小时（票价约100元）。苏州的灵魂在于园林——世界遗产名录上的苏州古典园林共有9座，每一座都是中国文人审美的立体教科书。

HSR from Hangzhou East to Suzhou takes about 1.5 hours (¥100). Suzhou's soul lies in its gardens — 9 classical gardens on the UNESCO World Heritage list, each a three-dimensional textbook in Chinese literati aesthetics.

拙政园与苏州博物馆 / Humble Administrator's Garden & Suzhou Museum

第6天上午先去拙政园（门票旺季90元，淡季70元）。这是苏州最大的古典园林，占地5.2万平方米，始建于明正德年间。园中的水池占全园面积三分之一，假山、亭台、回廊在水面上的倒影构成了一幅立体的水墨画。

Day 6 morning: start with the Humble Administrator's Garden (¥90 peak season, ¥70 off-season). Suzhou's largest classical garden covers 52,000 sq m, built during the Ming Zhengde era. Water pools cover a third of the grounds; the reflections of rockeries, pavilions, and corridors on the water create a three-dimensional ink painting.

紧邻拙政园的苏州博物馆（免费，需预约）由建筑大师贝聿铭设计，是他的封笔之作。白墙灰瓦之间穿插着几何感极强的玻璃天窗，传统与现代在这里达成了完美的平衡。馆内的"文人书房"展厅值得细看。

Right next door, Suzhou Museum (free, reservation required) was designed by I.M. Pei as his final masterwork. Between whitewashed walls and grey tiles, boldly geometric glass skylights strike a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. The "Scholar's Study" gallery deserves close attention.

平江路与山塘街 / Pingjiang Road & Shantang Street

下午沿平江路漫步——这条始建于宋代的古街沿河而建，两岸是粉墙黛瓦的江南民居。买一块海棠糕（5元），听一段评弹（很多茶馆提供免费或低价的评弹表演），然后在河边找张椅子坐下来发呆。

Afternoon: amble along Pingjiang Road — this Song Dynasty street runs beside a canal, lined with classic Jiangnan whitewashed houses. Buy a haitang cake (¥5), listen to a bit of pingtan ballad singing (many teahouses offer free or cheap performances), then find a canal-side chair and simply zone out.

傍晚转到山塘街（"七里山塘"），这里比平江路更热闹也更商业化，但夜景一流——红灯笼倒映在运河水面上，小桥、流水、人家的江南意境在灯光下被放大到极致。

Come evening, shift to Shantang Street ("Seven-Li Shantang"). It's livelier and more commercial than Pingjiang Road, but the night scenery is first-rate — red lanterns reflected on canal water, the Jiangnan motif of small bridge, flowing water, and homes amplified to its fullest under lamplight.

第7天：虎丘与丝绸 / Day 7: Tiger Hill & Silk

上午去虎丘（门票80元），苏东坡说"到苏州不游虎丘，乃憾事也"。虎丘塔（云岩寺塔）始建于公元959年，是中国版的比萨斜塔，塔身倾斜约3度。

Morning at Tiger Hill (¥80). Su Dongpo said "To visit Suzhou without seeing Tiger Hill would be a regret." Tiger Hill Pagoda (Yunyan Temple Pagoda), built in 959 AD, is China's Leaning Tower of Pisa, tilting about 3 degrees.

下午可以逛苏州丝绸博物馆（免费）了解丝绸的前世今生，或者去观前街购买丝绸制品。真丝围巾从100元到上千元不等，建议去正规店铺选购。

Afternoon: visit the Suzhou Silk Museum (free) to learn the full story of silk, or shop for silk products on Guanqian Street. Real silk scarves range from ¥100 to over ¥1,000 — buy from reputable shops.

美食速查 / Quick Food Guide

苏州菜偏甜，如果你不能接受咸甜口，提前跟服务员说"少放糖"。这是我个人踩过的坑——第一次在松鹤楼吃松鼠桂鱼时差点以为上的是甜品。

Suzhou cuisine leans sweet. If you can't handle savory-sweet flavors, tell the server "less sugar" (shao fang tang) upfront. This is a lesson I learned the hard way — my first squirrel-shaped mandarin fish at Songhelou was so sweet I briefly thought I'd ordered dessert.

实用信息 / Practical Info

交通卡： 上海地铁可刷支付宝或微信乘车码，杭州和苏州同理。三座城市之间高铁极为便利，无需提前太久购票（提前1-2天即可）。

Transit: Shanghai Metro accepts Alipay and WeChat ride codes; same for Hangzhou and Suzhou. High-speed rail between the three cities is so frequent you only need to book 1–2 days ahead.

最佳时间： 3-5月（春花烂漫）和9-11月（秋高气爽）是华东最舒适的旅行季节。6-7月是梅雨季，潮湿闷热但游客较少。

Best time: March–May (spring blossoms) and September–November (crisp autumn) are the most comfortable seasons. June–July is plum rain season — humid and sticky, but fewer crowds.

七天预算： 约3000-5000元/人（不含往返机票），住宿占大头。上海住宿较贵，可以考虑住在静安或徐汇而非外滩，能省不少。

7-day budget: Around ¥3,000–5,000/person excluding flights, with accommodation the biggest expense. Shanghai lodging is pricey — consider Jing'an or Xuhui instead of Bund-area hotels to save significantly.
