Northeast China's winter is an extreme experience: ice sculptures, rime frost, snow villages, hot springs, winter fishing, and Korean ethnic cuisine. The Harbin–Snow Town–Changbai Mountain–Yanji route strings together the northeast winter's greatest hits. Eight days is enough for depth.

行程安排 / Day-by-Day Itinerary

第1-2天：哈尔滨 / Days 1–2: Harbin

哈尔滨是中国最有俄罗斯风情的城市。第一天去中央大街——亚洲最长的步行街之一，铺着面包石，两侧是俄式、巴洛克、拜占庭风格建筑。在马迭尔冰棍店买一根冰棍（5元），零下二十度在室外吃冰棍是哈尔滨的仪式感。然后去圣索菲亚大教堂（外观免费）——拜占庭风格的洋葱头穹顶，是哈尔滨的标志。

Harbin is China's most Russian-flavored city. Day 1: Central Street — one of Asia's longest pedestrian streets, paved with cobblestones, lined with Russian, Baroque, and Byzantine architecture. Buy a Madier popsicle (¥5) — eating ice cream outdoors at -20°C is a Harbin ritual. Then Saint Sophia Cathedral (exterior free) — Byzantine onion-dome, Harbin's icon.

第二天全天去冰雪大世界（门票约300元，每年12月底-2月底开放）——用松花江的冰块搭建的巨型冰雕城市，晚上亮灯后五彩斑斓，有冰滑梯、冰迷宫、冰酒吧。这是全世界最大的冰雪主题乐园，没有之一。白天去也行，但晚上灯光效果是灵魂。

Day 2: full day at Ice and Snow World (ticket ~¥300, open late December–late February) — a massive ice sculpture city built from Songhua River ice blocks, dazzlingly colorful when lit at night. Ice slides, ice mazes, ice bars. The world's largest ice and snow theme park, period. Daytime visits work, but the nighttime lighting is the soul.

第3-4天：雪乡 / Days 3–4: China Snow Town

从哈尔滨包车或拼车到雪乡（约5-6小时）。雪乡（双峰林场）是中国降雪量最大的地方之一，积雪厚度能到2米。房顶上的雪像蘑菇一样鼓起来，红灯笼挂在雪蘑菇下面，夜景极其梦幻。

Charter car or shared ride from Harbin to Snow Town (~5–6 hours). Snow Town (Shuangfeng Forest Farm) has some of China's heaviest snowfall — snow depth reaches 2 meters. Snow piles on rooftops like mushrooms, red lanterns hang beneath snow mushroom caps — the night scene is utterly dreamlike.

第四天上午去羊草山看日出——需要凌晨4点出发，爬1小时雪路到山顶。日出时整个雪原被染成粉红色，雾凇挂满树枝，值得早起。下午可以玩雪地摩托（150元）、马拉爬犁（100元）。

Day 4 morning: Yangcao Mountain sunrise — depart at 4 AM, hike 1 hour through snow to the summit. At sunrise the entire snowfield turns pink, rime frost coats every branch. Worth the early wake-up. Afternoon: snowmobile (¥150), horse-drawn sled (¥100).

第5-6天：长白山 / Days 5–6: Changbai Mountain

从雪乡到长白山（约6-7小时车程）。长白山天池是中国最深的火山口湖，海拔2189米，冬天完全冰封，周围是白雪覆盖的火山锥。能不能看到天池取决于天气——冬天能见度好的概率约30%，看到算运气好。

Snow Town to Changbai Mountain (~6–7 hours by road). Changbai Mountain's Heavenly Lake is China's deepest crater lake at 2,189m elevation, completely frozen in winter, surrounded by snow-covered volcanic cones. Whether you see the lake depends on weather — winter visibility odds are ~30%. Seeing it means you're lucky.

第六天去长白山温泉——零下二十度泡在热气腾腾的室外温泉里，头发结冰但身体暖和，这种反差体验只有冬天的长白山能给。温泉煮鸡蛋（10元/个）是必须尝的。

Day 6: Changbai Mountain hot springs — soaking in steaming outdoor hot springs at -20°C, hair freezing while body stays warm. This contrast experience is unique to Changbai in winter. Hot spring-boiled eggs (¥10 each) are a must-try.

第7-8天：延吉 / Days 7–8: Yanji

从长白山到延吉（约4小时）。延吉是延边朝鲜族自治州的首府，街上的招牌都是中韩双语，感觉像出了国。这里是中国朝鲜族美食的大本营：冷面（夏天吃冰的，冬天也吃）、石锅拌饭、辣白菜炒五花肉、米肠、打糕。

Changbai Mountain to Yanji (~4 hours). Yanji is the capital of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture — street signs are bilingual Chinese-Korean, feeling like you've left China. This is the headquarters of Chinese-Korean cuisine: cold noodles (eaten iced in summer, also in winter), stone pot bibimbap, kimchi stir-fried pork belly, blood sausage, rice cakes.

第八天上午去延吉的中国朝鲜族民俗园（免费），了解朝鲜族的传统文化和建筑。然后去延吉西市场——当地人的菜市场，各种朝鲜族食材和小吃。下午返程。

Day 8 morning: Chinese Korean Folk Park in Yanji (free) for traditional Korean ethnic culture and architecture. Then Yanji West Market — a local produce market with all kinds of Korean ethnic ingredients and snacks. Afternoon: depart.

实用信息 / Practical Notes

最佳季节：12月中-2月中。哈尔滨冰雪大世界通常12月底开园。雪乡最佳是1月。

Best season: Mid-December to mid-February. Harbin Ice and Snow World usually opens late December. Snow Town peaks in January.

保暖装备：这不是开玩笑——零下20-30度需要：羽绒服、保暖内衣、防风裤、雪地靴、帽子、围巾、手套、暖宝宝。手机在低温下掉电极快，贴身放或用暖宝宝包着。

Cold gear: This is not a joke — at -20 to -30°C you need: down jacket, thermal underwear, windproof pants, snow boots, hat, scarf, gloves, hand warmers. Phones die fast in extreme cold — keep them against your body or wrapped in hand warmers.

费用参考：8天人均约5000-8000元（不含大交通）。雪乡住宿较贵（旺季500-1000元/晚），其他地方200-400元/晚。

Budget: ~¥5,000–8,000 per person for 8 days (excluding intercity transport). Snow Town accommodation is pricey (peak season ¥500–1,000/night); elsewhere ¥200–400/night.
