网络现状 / Internet Landscape

中国互联网受防火长城（GFW）管控，Google、YouTube、Facebook、Instagram、WhatsApp、Twitter均无法直接访问。百度替代Google搜索，微信替代WhatsApp，微博替代Twitter，优酷/B站替代YouTube。

China's internet is regulated by the Great Firewall (GFW). Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Twitter are inaccessible without a VPN. Baidu replaces Google Search; WeChat replaces WhatsApp; Weibo replaces Twitter; Youku/Bilibili replace YouTube.

机场三大运营商柜台均售境外游客SIM卡，中国联通"外国人专属卡"含通话+数据，¥99/30天，20GB流量。中国移动"全球通"套餐覆盖更广但价格略高。购买需护照，当场激活。

All three carriers sell tourist SIMs at airport counters. China Unicom's "Foreigner Card" includes calls + data for ¥99/30 days with 20GB. China Mobile's "Global" plan has wider coverage at slightly higher cost. Passport required; activated on the spot.

VPN使用 / Using a VPN

出发前下载并测试VPN（推荐：ExpressVPN、NordVPN、Astrill）。免费VPN在中国通常不稳定。连接后速度会有所下降，视频流媒体建议选择最近的服务器节点。在中国境内购买VPN服务较困难，务必提前准备。

Download and test a VPN before departure (recommended: ExpressVPN, NordVPN, Astrill). Free VPNs are usually unreliable in China. Expect some speed reduction; choose the nearest server node for video streaming. Purchasing VPN subscriptions from within China is difficult — prepare in advance.
