April Jiangnan is the closest China gets to "poetic." Fine rain wets cobblestones, white walls and black tiles emerge from mist, rapeseed flowers blaze yellow, peach blossoms blush pink. Ancient poets wrote about this for a thousand years — it's still here today.

苏州：园林最美的季节 | Suzhou: Gardens at Their Peak

四月是苏州园林最好的时候——牡丹、海棠、紫藤同时开放，游客比五一少，气温18-22°C刚好。

April is Suzhou's garden peak — peonies, crabapples, and wisteria bloom simultaneously, crowds are lighter than May Day, and 18-22°C temperatures are perfect.

拙政园 | Humble Administrator's Garden
苏州最大的园林，四月紫藤花廊是网红打卡点。建议早上8点开门就进去，9点后人就多了。门票70元。
Suzhou's largest garden. April's wisteria corridor is a famous photo spot. Enter right at 8 AM opening — crowds build after 9. Tickets ¥70.

留园 | Lingering Garden
比拙政园安静，四月牡丹开得很好。门票40元，游客少一半。
Quieter than Humble Administrator's. April peonies are excellent. Tickets ¥40, half the crowds.

平江路 | Pingjiang Road
沿着小河的古街，两边是明清建筑。下雨天最好看——撑一把油纸伞，在石板路上慢慢走。
An ancient street along a canal, flanked by Ming-Qing buildings. Best in the rain — open an oiled-paper umbrella and stroll the cobblestones slowly.

乌镇：雨中古镇 | Wuzhen: Ancient Town in the Rain

乌镇是江南古镇里商业化程度最高的，但也是保存最完整的。四月的雨天，游客少，乌镇才露出它真实的样子。

Wuzhen is the most commercialized of Jiangnan's water towns, but also the best preserved. On rainy April days with fewer visitors, Wuzhen reveals its true face.

西栅景区 | Xizha District
晚上住在景区内的民宿（300-600元/晚），等游客散去后，古镇只剩下水声和灯光。这是乌镇最值得体验的时刻。
Stay overnight in a guesthouse inside the scenic area (¥300-600/night). After day visitors leave, the town is left with only water sounds and lamplight — Wuzhen's most worthwhile moment.

东栅景区 | Dongzha District
白天参观，门票100元。有蓝印花布、木雕、皮影戏等传统手工艺展示。
Daytime visit, tickets ¥100. Traditional crafts on display: blue calico printing, wood carving, shadow puppetry.

婺源：油菜花的终点站 | Wuyuan: The Last Stop for Rapeseed Flowers

三月下旬到四月上旬，婺源是全中国油菜花最密集的地方。金黄色的花田、白色的徽派建筑、青山——这个画面出现在无数摄影大赛的获奖作品里。

From late March to early April, Wuyuan has the densest rapeseed flower fields in all of China. Golden flower fields, white Huizhou-style buildings, green mountains — this scene appears in countless award-winning photography competitions.

篁岭 | Huangling
悬崖上的村庄，秋天晒秋（晒农作物）出名，四月油菜花也很美。缆车上去，俯瞰整个花海。门票100元含缆车。
A village perched on a cliff, famous for autumn harvest drying displays. April rapeseed flowers are equally stunning. Take the cable car up for a bird's-eye view of the flower sea. Tickets ¥100 including cable car.

江岭 | Jiangling
摄影师最爱的地方，梯田式的油菜花从山脚铺到山顶。日出时分，薄雾加金色花田，是婺源最经典的画面。
Photographers' favorite: terraced rapeseed fields climbing from valley floor to hilltop. At sunrise, thin mist over golden fields creates Wuyuan's most iconic image.

关于雨天 | About Rainy Days:
四月江南多雨，但雨天反而是最美的时候。带一把透明雨伞（不挡脸，拍照好看），穿防水鞋，把雨天当成体验的一部分。
April Jiangnan is rainy, but rain makes it most beautiful. Bring a clear umbrella (doesn't block your face in photos), wear waterproof shoes, and embrace the rain as part of the experience.

五一前去 | Go Before May Day:
四月底五一黄金周，江南古镇人满为患，价格翻倍。四月中旬是最佳时机——花还在，人不多。
The May Day Golden Week at the end of April brings massive crowds and doubled prices to Jiangnan water towns. Mid-April is the sweet spot — flowers still blooming, crowds manageable.
